Travelling to Israel

Visa to enter the state of Israel is not needed for most European passport holders. To be sure you're exempt from having a visa please check this table.

Direct flights to Ben-Gurion International Airport (in Tel-Aviv) are possible using most European national airlines. Actually, you'll find it surprisingly close to many European Capitals. Flights take only about 3.5hr from Rome or Vienna and about 5hr from Amsterdam or London. You can easily reach it with low-cost flights as well. El-Al (www.elal.com), Israir (www.israirairlines.com) and Arkia (www.arkia.com) are the three Israeli airlines that run regular (and quite cheap we must say) flights to-from Israel. Low cost companies, such as EasyJet (www.easyjet.com) and Wizzair (www.wizzair.com) run daily flights to Tel-Aviv with affordable fares. Other companies such as Pegasus and Budgetair also run lines to Tel-Aviv. With so many options, we're sure that flights will be an easy and affordable thing to arrange.
