2016 VdGM|St.Exupery|EURIPA Conference Exchange

The Vasco da Gama Movement, in collaboration with the Organising Committee of the 6th EURIPA Rural Health Forum, the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Marseille, the Marseille Association of Graduates and the Saint Exupery Movement are pleased to invite 10 trainees or young family doctors to spend two days in a surgery close to Marseille before the Rural Forum begins.


On Tuesday, September 20th 2016, all the participants will meet late in the afternoon with their French counterpart at the Faculty of Medicine. Each participant will be hosted by a French trainee and will spend the two following days (Wednesday, September 21st, and Thursday, September 22nd) in a general practice. Exchangees will learn about the French health system, the organisation of internships and the relationship between trainee-trainer-patient.

The participants are expected to present their report on Saturday at the 6th EURIPA Rural Health Forum.


To be a candidate for this Conference Exchange you have to :

• be a graduate, a post graduate or a young family doctor (less than five year licensed)

• be interested in rural practice

• write a cover letter, with a short CV and agree to help to organise an exchange in your country in the future

• be registered at the 6th EURIPA Rural Health Forum (special fee of €50!)


Housing will be provided by your host until the end of the EURIPA Forum.
