Dear members,

We are delighted to invite you to participate in the 4th International Safeguarding Children Conference.

The Conference is to be held in Kingston, Jamaica on the 17th and 18th May 2018 . This conference will commence during Child Month, which is observed in May.

This two-day conference which has been endorsed by the Jamaica High Commission in the UK, themed Let’s Build The Legacy…. Your Legacy is Every Life You Touch is for Professionals, Agencies, Organisations and Individuals working with and on behalf of children and families.

We continue to lift the quality and legacy of the conference with each staging. We listen to our stakeholders and implement their recommendations to ensure that what we are presenting is meaningful and tangible for the audiences we target.

The formal opening ceremony will take place on Thursday May 17th with presentations from the organisers and partners including Government Ministers, experts and local and international agencies involved in child protection, such as the Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA formerly the Child Development Agency and Office of the Children’s Registry), Centre For Investigation Of Sexual Offences & Child Abuse (CISOCA),  Hear the Children’s Cry, The North East Regional Health Authority (NERHA), The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM), Access to Information Unit Office of the Prime Minister, The Tameka Hill Foundation, Youth Organisation Undertaking National Growth (Y.O.U.N.G) and World Federation for Mental Health.

Each speaker will bring his or her own unique experience that will enrich the conference and be of great value to the attendees as well as to the children and families whose lives we are seeking to positively impact.
