WONCA Europe 2012 Activities

This is the programme of the activities of the Vasco da Gama Movement during the WONCA Europe Conference. 

Thursday 5th July

  • 14:00-15:30 (Room G11): The Hippokrates Exchange Programme: A Vasco da Gama Workshop 
  • 16:00-17:30: Writing for publication (Room G20): a joint VdGM / EGPRN / EJGP workshop 

Friday 6th July 

  • 11:00-12:30 (Room G18): Encouraging young family doctors to work and remain in rural communities (joint EURIPA / VdGM Workshop)
  • 14:00-15:30 (Room R26): Social Media, Now! - What do we (k)now [A Vasco da Gama Workshop] 
  • 16:00-17:30 (Room R26): Joint workshop EURACT and Vasco da Gama Movement: Developing an International Core Curriculum or Global Standards in family medicine education - how and why? 
  • 16:00-17:30 (Room G12): Open Space: Meet the Vasco da Gama Movement 

Saturday 7th July

  • 09:00-10:00 (Room Y01): The art of being a Family Doctor (Keynote Lecture Art)
  • 11:00-12:30 (Room G12): Promoting science among junior general practitioners - Presenting the Vasco da Gama Movement Junior Researcher Award 2012

Theme Group Meetings

VdGM's five active theme groups: Education and Training, Research, Exchange, Image, Beyond Europe will hold informal meetings during the WONCA Europe 2012 main conference. You are very welcome to participate, as Group Meetings are open to all interested junior doctors.

For more information please look at the meetings schedule in the VdGM booth during the main WONCA Europe Conference or ask a VdGM member (look for a junior doctor wearing a polo shirt with the VdGM logo). Our booth will be located inside the conference hall and has the number 119.

The National Exchange Coordinators Meeting has been scheduled on Thursday 5th July at 17.30 in Room G20.
