Scientific Committee
In 2014, we are ready to launch a Pan European meeting for trainees and junior Family Doctors, the VdGM Forum,
which will take place in Barcelona on 7th-8th February 2014. Our objective is to strengthen the relationships between our members, provide a true platform based on continuity and offer a tailored scientific and cultural programme.

Where to stay?
The money in the VdGM Fund is protected and dedicated to provide bursaries to support VdGM Members to participate in VdGM Events, especially the Forum and the Pre-Conference/WONCA Europe Conference. We use the VdGM Fund especially to support those who have low income, as well as those who are new to VdGM, in the hopes that they would be inspired to become active members in the long term, aiding in spreading the VdGM Virus across Europe!
VdGM events offer participants the opportunity to be introduced to the concept of being a GP/FP in a worldly context, to exchange experiences and visions, discusss with colleagues from all over the globe widening their perspectives and horizons, and help them to "think globally and act locally".
The events are open to all trainees and young GP/FP up to 5 years after qualification. There is usually a fixed number of places available and registrations are carried out in a first-come, first-served basis.
The Vasco da Gama Movement events include:
